Pete has been working on projects with Stuart Spray Wildlife Consultancy for the past three years.
He specialises in surveying for bat roosts in high places such as trees, buildings and bridges.
Pete, originally from New Zealand, is based in Manchester and works throughout north England and Scotland.
Recent projects have included surveying 50 trees for the presence of roosting bats in a broadleaf woodland at Haddington near Edinburgh where UPM Tilhil were proposing essential arboriculture management and conducting a bat activity survey within the grounds of a hospice in Edinburgh.
Pete will be leading on projects in and around Manchester over the next 12 months.
