Phase 1 Habitat Surveys
Stuart Spray Wildlife Consultancy is experienced in conducting Phase One Habitat Surveys.
A Phase One Habitat survey is carried out to establish baseline data on habitats present within the footprint of a proposed development.
Habitats are assessed and mapped on to a 1:10,000 scale Ordnance Survey map in the field using standard JNCC habitat classification.
Target notes are also made in the field describing interesting features, important species and past management.
A final full colour habitat map is digitally prepared in the office using standard JNCC colour codes.
